CMCI Sponsors An Evening for Hope Gala, Proceeds Benefit The Children’s Inn at NIH

CMCI is proud to be a sponsor for The Children’s Inn at NIH’s annual fundraising gala, An Evening for Hope, scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.

This year’s gala will celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Children’s Inn, a home for families whose children are undergoing treatment at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for serious and often life-threatening conditions. The event will feature entertainment by The Capitol Steps, a musical comedy troupe that has recorded dozens of albums and performed for five U.S presidents. The evening will also include a cocktail hour, dinner, both silent and live auctions and a raffle for a weeklong vacation for two in Florida.

Since opening in 1990, more than 12,500 seriously ill children and their families from all 50 states and more than 80 countries have stayed at The Inn, at no cost to them. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit through a wide range of therapeutic, recreational and educational programs.
