GLIDER® (GLobal Import/export Declarations, Evaluation & Release)
processing solution

GLIDER facilitates Worldwide Customs Administrations to receive and process electronic manifest, entry & declarations from carriers/supplier/brokers that transport cargo internationally. It was designed to conform to the WCO (World Customs Organization) guidelines/ framework. Other key features of GLIDER® are:
  • Works across Customs, Govt. agencies, and trade Communities
  • Allows the modernized IT platform to manage trade interactions for all incoming cargo
  • Earlier view & data access of the extended Supply Chain Management Systems

GLIDER does not treat risk management process as a static and well bounded or scope restricted process but as an interactive process in which information is continuously defined, reviewed, updated, and proactively analyzed within a context. It does this by defining a rigorous strategy and dynamically adapting within the context for managing risks.

The diagram illustrates the relationship between risk and context that drives these risks, and the methodology CMCI uses to manage.

Some of CMCI unique features
Operational Business Intelligence / Enterprise Data warehouse

CMCI focuses on capitalizing the wealth of information and intelligence contained in its customers' applications and within their Enterprise. CMCI helps customers to improve decision-making, strategic planning and overall value of their information. CMCI's world-class talented experts manage multiple stakeholders across the organization, and organize & process the data from various systems to deliver valuable results based on customers' needs within the Enterprise.

Getting the correct information in a timely fashion is the key to making sound decisions. This is the fundamental precept of business intelligence that can be difficult to accomplish without a sound plan.

CMCI business intelligence methodology is founded by years of experience in implementation of these technologies and is flexible enough to support any size of effort in complexity or volume using any of the tools present in the marketplace today.

Understanding and allowing for any or all of these facets of a Business Intelligence solution will enable CMCI's customers to get the right information to the right place at the right time while being agile enough to react to evolving business needs. Whether the end result is used for compliance, enterprise performance management, integration with SOA, or automation in the form of prediction and discovery, CMCI can ensure its customers select the proper approach to solving their problems.

Service Oriented Architecture
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a concept with a lot of promises behind it. However the path to actually realizing the benefits of those changes is rarely understood. CMCI has expert understanding of the opportunities, maturity model and governance necessary to accomplish a real SOA. CMCI has been doing what is now called SOA for many years with sub systems or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) that have had the same critical nature in being a single point of failure for systems built on them. Now SOA has given the ability to wrap these functions into web services and provide orchestration of the entire process as opposed to choreography.

CMCI understands that this paradigm puts a lot of power in the hands of your SOA so it must be used responsibly. CMCI focuses on understanding how to integrate Identity and Access Management into your SOA for governance, use Application Server Infrastructure and Virtualization to assure one hundred percent availability of SOA infrastructure and use Business Process Management as an opportunity to start SOA for the right reasons, to achieve business goals. CMCI uses ITIL to integrate IT into the service development lifecycle.

Enterprise Virtualization
Enterprise Virtualization can dramatically improve the efficiency and availability of resources and applications within any organization. The major goal of virtualization is to move away from the "one server - one application" model. In addition to the server consolidation, virtualization also provides flexibility and scalability, allowing administrators to spend more time innovating and less time on mundane tasks like deploying and configuring servers, operating systems and applications.

CMCI has a team of virtualization experts that can assist any organization in determining where to best insert virtualization technologies into the data center. CMCI also provides a resource utilization analysis showing the average cost savings of moving to a Virtual Infrastructure.

CMCI’s expertise includes leading edge virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX, Virtual Center, Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) migrations, Virtual Datacenter Analysis, Oracle VM, Citrix/Zen. CMCI utilizes virtualization technologies to achieve high availability, maximize resource utilization, and provide flexibility and agility in provisioning of resources and ease of management of the virtual datacenter.

Technology Focused Groups
CMCI's Technology Focused Groups are highly skilled at evaluating COTS, custom, and hybrid (buy vs. build and/or hybrid) solutions by involving its customers in determining the optimal solution. CMCI is considered to be the thought leader and continually demonstrates its capabilities in the following key technology areas:
